Compact type solar water heaters are available (with air vacuum tubes and a selective collector), as well as split type solar systems.

Apart from their distinction between compact and split type, solar water heaters are divided according to the energy sources that they can benefit from. More specifically, they are divided into double energy (those that can function whether on solar or on electrical energy) and triple energy (combining the characteristics of double energy, along with the option to cooperate with other energy sources, which they enhance by saving energy, for instance when using an oil boiler).

Compact Solar water heaters

The boilers come with water capacity spanning from 80 to 200 liters and are both double and triple energy.

Apollo Teck GmbH solar water heaters are delivered with a rooftop base or tile roof made of special galvanizing coating.

Apollo Teck GmbH offers two lines of solar water heaters of selective collectors (GL and NS lines), one line of vacuum tube collectors (VS line) and iNOX stainless steel solar panels (IN line).

Split Solar water heaters

Apollo Teck GmbH apart from Compact type solar water heaters, also offers Split type solar systems for producing hot water. In these systems, the solar collectors (selective or vacuum tube collectors) are placed on the roof or tile roof, whereas the boiler is placed in some remote space (usually an internal space). The closed circuit water circulates with the help of a solar station, in which there is a circulator and several sensors.

The selective solar collectors are vertical, 2,05m2 in surface, while the vacuum tube collectors are available in two sizes, 15 and 20 seats.

The boilers come with capacity spanning from 160 to 1000 liters (glass) and from 160 to 300 liters (iNOX) and are either double or triple energy.

 

  • Vacuum air tube dimensions Φ58 x 1800 mm. (model SP-S58/1800A – Heat pipe).
  • Maximum temperature 220°C.
  • Maximum function pressure 6 bar.
  • Efficient vacuum collector with copper absorbing tubes and high efficiency collector for maximum absorption of solar energy.
  • Tubes are made of special 1.6 mm thick reinforced glass, ensuring maximum safety and protection against weather conditions.
  • Each tube of the solar collector is a closed circuit, autonomous from the water.
  • The vacuum tubes are cylindrically shaped, so that the sun rays fall vertically on them throughout the day.
  • Tolerance to low temperatures (up to -35°C).
  • Solar water heater base made of galvanized coating (for roof and tile roof).

THE DIVIDED TYPE SYSTEMS WITH SELECTIVE SOLAR COLLECTORS CONSIST OF:

 

  • EPI 25 solar collectors (1017 x 2017 x 90 mm) vertical, with titanium coating.
  • Mechanical clamp fitting Ø22×22 mm for the parallel connection of the collectors.
  • Rooftop – tile roof base and spare parts for its assembly.
  • Cross with a beaker.
  • GLASS type boiler (160-1000) or iNOX (160-300).
  • Two expansion vessels for the closed circuit of the solar collectors and for the entry of cold water in the boiler.
  • Hydraulic solar kit.
  • Glass type Boilers 160, 200 and 300 liters come with 4kW electrical resistance.
  • There is no thermal carrier (antifreeze).
